Stone Age Clothing

Stone age clothes

The Hunters of the last glacial period were probably the first people to wear clothes.

Stone Age people mostly wore clothes made out of animal skin.

The hides were pegged out and scraped clean, then washed and stretched out.

They likely used their teeth to soften animal skins to be suitable to wear.

They made pins and needles from slithers of bone or antler, smoothed by rubbing them on a stone.
